Yevgeny Bar Lev

Yevgeny was a postdoc at Columbia from 2012-2017. He is now an Associate Professor in the physics department at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beersheba, Israel.

Timothy Berkelbach

Tim was a graduate student at Columbia from 2009-2014. He is now an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Columbia University and Co-Director of the Initiative for Computational Catalysis at the Flatiron Institute.

Eric Yisroel Brumer

Yisroel was a graduate student at Harvard from 1999-2003. He is now a Co-Founder and the CEO of DEFCON AI, a Founding Partner of Red Cell Partners (DEFCON AI’s parent company), and a Co-Founder and the founding CEO of Zephyr AI.

Matthew Carbone

Matt was a graduate student at Columbia from 2016-2021. He is now an Assistant Computational Scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Yao-Wen Chang

Yao-Wen was a postdoc at Columbia from 2017-2019. He is currently a postdoc in the Physics Division at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences, Taipei, Taiwan.

Martina was a Columbia Science Fellow from 2017-2018. As part of her fellowship, she was part of a team of scientists teaching the Frontiers of Science course at Columbia while conducting research in the group. Martina is now a Scientia Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Bin Li

Bin was a postdoc at Columbia from 2014-2016. He is now Director of Bioinformatics Center at the National Institute of Biological Sciences in Beijing, China.

Nan Lin

Nan was a joint graduate student with Andy Millis at Columbia from 2006-2012. She is now working as a Senior Software Engineer at Google.
